The Loft is the result of a loving conversion of the standalone Victorian red-brick stable building at my family home, Rectory Farm. Just recently completed, so everything is brand new and sparkling clean. It’s filled with custom-made furniture, original art, premium appliances and fun gadgets.
Luxury doesn’t have to mean squandering precious resources – we use Solar Power, Air Source heating, Filtered Well Water and more means you can enjoy your stay without it having to dwell on your conscience.
The Loft has a Boutique Hotel style in the heart of the East Midlands and is ideal for those who want a relaxing and luxurious place to stay for work or pleasure.
If you are coming as part of a larger group, why not consider booking my other properties at the same location? They are The Barn (3 bedroom that sleeps 8) , or the Loft’s sister, The Cottage (1 bedroom that sleeps 4). Together, the 3 spaces sleep 18 adults/children plus up to 4 infants and offer an amazing location for larger reunions and get-togethers.
The Loft is set in a private 14 acre estate in the rolling countryside close to Market Harborough in the heart of the East Midlands. Supermarkets, restaurants, and entertainment for kids is a 10-minute drive away. It’s also a great base to explore Nottingham, Leicester, Market Harborough, Northampton, Rugby, Kettering, Rutland and Corby. London is only 1 hour by train.
We offer great accommodation near to Kelmarsh Hall, Kilworth House Hotel, and Theatre, Stamford Hall, Silverstone Race Circuit, Donnington Park and The Sourdough School.
The Loft has an EV charger to charge electric cars.

Getting Ready for your Big Night Out
You will have 100% private use of the Loft which is in its own building and parking in the courtyard beside it. You are welcome to walk in the 14 acres of the estate, and we only ask that the main house and barn courtyard gardens have their privacy respected.
The Loft has the entrance and its laundry room on the ground floor leading to stairs up to the first floor where the living and sleeping accommodation is located.
I love helping people discover the area where I grew up and giving them the chance to experience it the way we do as locals. We respond quickly via Messaging Apps and by phone if you have any questions.
When you arrive we will normally be here to welcome you personally, but I also provide self check-in via your personal door code if you are arriving late. We are always super flexible to try to accommodate late check-out and early / late check-in subject to other guests arriving or departing whenever we can.
Clipston is just 10 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of Market Harborough which is directly connected by direct high speed train to Nottingham, Leicester, Luton Airport and London St Pancras and one change to London Gatwick Airport.
The village offers a traditional English way of life with a good pub serving homemade food, summer fetes, friendly community and access to beautiful walks and countryside pursuits.
We are very close to a plethora of interesting places and things to do including the world famous Foxton Locks and the Grand Union canal, The Soaring Centre (Glider Airport), Welford Children’s Farm Park, Pitsford Reservoir (sailing / kayaking / biking), Mini Mischief’s Soft play centre and much more.

Bring your Horse by prior arrangement
Whilst you can arrive by train to Market Harborough and then 15 minutes by taxi to The Barn, most people come by car, as we are located about 2 miles from the village in open countryside and we offer secure parking free of charge. We are about 10 minutes drive from the A14 at J2 and about 15 minutes from the M1 Junction 20. Detailed directions provided after booking
