This spacious air-conditioned 220 square meters / 2800 square feet, 3 bedroom apartment, is located in a traditional 1930’s building, Casa Almada, lovingly restored for modern living. The building is one of Lisbon’s most emblematic, originally owned by the Marquis de Pombaline himself.
I designed the space for families or friends travelling together to be able to enjoy a luxury stay right in the heart of everything Lisbon has to offer. Gather in the large skylit living room where modern furnishings and abstract local art explore a palette of gold and blue. Cook dinner at a stove in the stone archway in the fully equipped kitchen & enjoy unforgettable meals together.

You can access the building and the apartment 24/7 with your personal access code. Your personal apartment door code is unique to you and only valid during your stay.
The apartment is located on the 4th floor, like many historical buildings in Lisbon, our building has no lift. However, being at the top is an advantage as you get the most light, best views and no noise from neighbours above you which is often a huge problem elsewhere. The stairs also help you burn off the calories from the fresh yummy Pastel de Nata you will be eating from the local bakery each morning 😉
I love helping people discover the Lisbon I fell in love with and giving them the chance to experience it the way we do as residents. I respond quickly via Messaging Apps and by phone if you have any questions.
When you arrive we will normally be here to welcome you personally, but I also provide self check-in via your personal door code if you are arriving late. We are always super flexible to try to accommodate late check-out and early / late check-in subject to other guests arriving or departing whenever we can.

Walk everywhere!
The apartment is literally in the best location, a stone’s throw from Lisbon Cathedral (Se), the Castle of St George & 150 metres from Lisbon’s most famous square, Praca Comércio.
It’s only 10 mins walking distance from all the vibrant restaurants, bars, shipping & art galleries in Baixa, Chiado, Bairro Alto & Alfama. Explore the Tagus by riverboat, sample amazing Portuguese food at the Mercado da Ribeira, visit the Aquarium or catch the 28 tram from the end of the street.
We are only a 15 minute ride from the airport by car. Metro connection is also possible.
Being in the very centre, you can enjoy the city on foot and won’t need a car as public transport and Uber / Bolt are fast, cheap and ubiquitous.
If you feel like exploring further, maybe to spend a day at Cascais or Estoril beaches, with direct trains from nearby Cais do Sodré train station. Meanwhile the Metro stations of Terreiro de Paco (Blue line direct to the Zoo) and Baixa Chiado (Blue and Green lines) which are both 5 minutes away.
You could / should also get on board to cross the Tagus River to explore the apartment’s namesake town, Almada.
